DECKING TYPES

Two ways to build a deck.

Timber decking

Treated timber decking is wood that has been pressure-treated to protect it from insects and British weather.

We build timber decking in a variety of designs, colours and materials, but always recommend hardwood. It costs a little more than softwood, but it lasts longer.

Composite decking

Composite decking, also known as wood-plastic composite (WPC), is a modern alternative to wood decking. The boards combine reclaimed wood fibres and recycled plastic for a low-maintenance, long-lasting deck.

Solid composite decking comes in a variety of designs, styles and colours and is typically more durable than timber. Uncapped composite decking is quick to install, and capped decking may last longer still.
